Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling them on medication needs, and administering immunizations. Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches and techniques to resolve concerns. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and Board of Pharmacy statutes by analyzing reports, monitoring safety controls, and developing action plans. Maintain confidential information and documentation while building relationships with key stakeholders to improve business solutions. Stay up to date on emergent health issues through data analysis and community outreach events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
