Job Summary
Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and provide counseling on health care needs while maintaining confidential information and controlled medication documentation. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service approaches, resolving concerns, and guiding associates on techniques to meet company standards. Ensure compliance with legal policies, safety controls, and operational procedures by analyzing reports, overseeing quality assurance reviews, and implementing action plans for improvement. Utilize data and personal conversations to understand community health concerns and stay current on emergent issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
