Job Summary
Conduct patient-centered care by processing prescription orders, counseling customers on medication needs, and administering immunizations while maintaining accurate documentation. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service approaches, resolving concerns, and providing guidance on compliance with policies and procedures. Manage inventory control, cost savings initiatives, and operational safety through regular audits, loss prevention monitoring, and the implementation of action plans for quality assurance. Engage in community outreach and wellness events to address local health concerns, utilizing data and personal conversations to stay updated on emergent health issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
