Job Summary
Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and provide counseling on health care and medication needs. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service approaches, resolving concerns, and guiding associates on compliance and safety standards. Analyze reports to monitor loss prevention, oversee quality assurance reviews, and implement action plans for operational improvements. Maintain confidential documentation while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal guidelines. Engage with the community through outreach events and Wellness Days to address common health concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
