Job Summary
Process prescription orders, administer immunizations, and provide counseling on medication needs while maintaining controlled substance documentation. Model customer service approaches and guide staff on resolving concerns and complaints within company guidelines. Ensure compliance with legal policies, safety controls, and operational standards by analyzing reports and implementing loss prevention measures. Lead pharmacy staff on proper techniques, enforce ethics and integrity, and develop action plans to improve team knowledge and patient safety. Use data and personal conversations to understand community health concerns and stay updated on emergent issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
