Job Summary
Process prescriptions, counsel patients on medication needs, and administer immunizations while maintaining accurate documentation and controlled substance records. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling customer service approaches, resolving concerns, and guiding associates on proper techniques. Analyze inventory, cost savings, and compliance reports to drive operational improvements and ensure adherence to federal and state regulations. Manage patient safety initiatives, implement action plans for quality assurance, and foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement within the pharmacy team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
