Job Summary
Process prescriptions, counsel patients on medication needs, and administer immunizations while maintaining strict confidentiality and documentation. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling customer service approaches, resolving complaints, and enforcing compliance with legal policies and safety controls. Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities, develop action plans for quality assurance, and support business initiatives focused on cost savings and inventory management. Act as a community leader by engaging in outreach events and addressing local health concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
