Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients on medication needs, and administering immunizations. Model and enforce proper customer service approaches to resolve concerns while ensuring compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety controls. Lead pharmacy staff through guidance on best practices, quality assurance reviews, and the implementation of business solutions that drive cost savings and operational improvements. Maintain confidential documentation and support community outreach initiatives such as Wellness Days to foster patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
