Job Summary
Process prescriptions accurately and provide comprehensive patient counseling while administering immunizations and maintaining controlled medication documentation. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling customer service techniques, resolving complaints, and guiding associates on proper procedures and compliance with legal policies. Manage inventory control, cost savings initiatives, and operational safety to support business needs while adapting to diverse patient backgrounds and community health concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
