Job Summary
Process prescriptions, administer immunizations, and provide expert counseling to customers while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with legal standards. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service techniques, enforcing company policies, and guiding associates on resolving concerns within established guidelines. Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities, oversee safety controls, and implement action plans that enhance patient care quality and reduce risks. Engage in community outreach events and wellness initiatives to address local health concerns, while ensuring accurate inventory management and cost-saving strategies for patients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
