Job Summary
Process prescriptions, administer immunizations, and provide comprehensive patient counseling while maintaining strict confidentiality and controlled medication documentation. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling customer service techniques, resolving concerns, and guiding associates on proper procedures. Manage inventory control, cost savings initiatives, and compliance with legal policies, including loss prevention and safety reviews. Analyze reports to identify improvement opportunities, implement action plans for patient safety, and stay current on emergent health issues through data and community outreach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
