Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders. Counsel patients on healthcare and medication needs while administering immunizations and other Walmart-developed programs. Model proper customer service approaches and ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintain HIPAA and PHI guidelines throughout all interactions. This role supports the energetic pharmacy team dedicated to quality, heartfelt care and community health within an environment equipped with necessary resources and technology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines
