Job Summary
Process prescriptions, administer immunizations, and provide comprehensive patient counseling while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with state and federal regulations. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling customer service techniques, enforcing safety protocols, and guiding associates through operational challenges to ensure quality care and loss prevention. Analyze inventory data, monitor safety controls, and develop action plans to improve patient outcomes and reduce errors. Manage community outreach initiatives and Wellness Days to support local health needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
