Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders. Counsel patients regarding healthcare and medication needs while administering immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart. Ensure compliance with company policies, HIPAA, and PHI guidelines. Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches. Foster relationships with customers and partners while adapting to a variety of medical concerns. Participate in community activities, outreach, and events to support local engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
