Job Summary
Provide pharmacy services to hospital inpatients and outpatients, including pharmacotherapy monitoring, drug information, and education under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager. Requires licensure or eligibility for licensure in Manitoba; hospital pharmacy experience is preferred. Strong communication, information systems proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary inpatient/outpatient setting are essential. May require travel to other sites and adherence to security and background-check requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensing in the Province of Manitoba
- Entry-to-practice academic credential in Pharmacy from a Canadian university or approved equivalent
- Completion of Hospital Residency program is preferred
- Fluency in English; strong verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of information systems technology and pharmacy software
- Ability to travel to other sites as required
- Demonstrated ability to provide professional pharmacotherapy information and education
- Ability to manage urgent/critical situations effectively
- Registration with regulatory body in Manitoba (or eligibility)
- Experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred
