Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist role at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (Seven Oaks General Hospital - Pharmacy - Urgent Care) responsible for providing pharmacy services to hospital inpatients and outpatients, including pharmacotherapy monitoring, drug information, and education. Requires licensed or eligible Manitoba licensure and an entry-to-practice credential in Pharmacy from an accredited Canadian program; hospital residency is preferred. In-person position with days, evenings, weekends, standby/on-call coverage; FTE 0.70, typical shifts across days and on-call coverage. Emphasis on strong communication, information systems knowledge, and ability to work independently and collaboratively within the pharmacy program. Travel to other sites may be required. Required Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensing in the Province of Manitoba
- Entry-to-practice academic credential in Pharmacy from an accredited Canadian university program or the approved equivalent
- Completion of Hospital Residency program is preferred
- Experience in hospital pharmacy practice is preferred
- Knowledge of pharmacy information systems and software
- Fluency in English; strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to plan work flexibly to meet demanding schedules
- Ability to maintain professional relationships and discretion
