Job Summary
Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care by processing prescription orders, counseling patients on medication needs, and administering immunizations with accuracy and confidentiality. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service approaches, enforcing compliance with company policies, and guiding associates through safety protocols and operational standards. Analyze data and community concerns to drive quality improvement initiatives, reduce risks, and implement action plans for patient safety. Manage inventory control and cost savings while maintaining strict adherence to legal regulations and Board of Pharmacy statutes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
