Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients on medication needs, and administering immunizations. Model proper customer service approaches to resolve concerns and guide staff on techniques. Ensure compliance with legal policies and company standards by analyzing reports, monitoring safety controls, and implementing action plans for quality assurance. Maintain confidential documentation and support the development of business solutions through stakeholder partnerships. Lead by example in fostering a culture of patient safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement while mentoring associates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
