Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers on medication needs, and administering immunizations. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service approaches, resolving concerns, and providing guidance on techniques to ensure successful outcomes. Ensure compliance with Company and legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing safety controls, overseeing quality assurance reviews, and maintaining confidential documentation. Develop and execute action plans to improve team knowledge, focus on patient safety goals, and identify root causes of errors. Utilize tools, data, and personal conversations to understand community concerns and stay updated on urgent health issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
