Job Summary
Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care by processing prescription orders, counseling patients on medication needs, and administering immunizations while maintaining strict confidentiality. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service techniques, resolving concerns, and guiding associates on compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Ensure operational excellence through inventory control, cost savings analysis, and safety audits, while advocating for patient-centered care and community wellness initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation and implement action plans to improve team knowledge and patient safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
