Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders while counseling them on healthcare and medication needs. Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and HIPAA guidelines. Offer guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches and implement best practices in pharmaceutical care. Foster relationships with customers and partners while adapting to diverse medical concerns and participating in community outreach and events.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
