Job Summary
Staff Pediatric Surgeon to provide expert surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents across UCLA Health’s network. Responsibilities include call coverage for medical centers and community hospitals, 2-24 hour shifts or as assigned, participation in day and night call schedules, weekly clinics for consultations and follow-ups, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and extending pediatric surgical coverage throughout the community network. Base salary range is provided and compensation prorated according to hours worked; position is Contract for 1 year and not benefits-eligible.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board Certification or eligibility in Pediatric Surgery
- Board Certificated in Pediatrics
- A current, valid California medical license, without restrictions
- Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license, without restrictions
