Job Summary
Conduct printed circuit board design supporting Anduril's products by implementing high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power assemblies. Lead the team in establishing internal guidelines for design for manufacturing (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and quality fabrication outputs while developing team processes for part creation and library standards. Coordinate external PCB design resources during design surges and ensure boards are built to print and BOM specifications with multiple fab and assembly houses. Manage concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment requiring expertise in IPC standards, HDI, controlled impedance routing, and high-layer count digital designs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar
- 6+ years of professional experience in PCB design
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Expertise in applying relevant IPC standards
- CID certification
- CID+ certification
- Expertise in PCB fabrication processes
- Expertise in PCB design rules
- Expertise in PCB best practices
- Experience using Altium Designer CAD tools
- Experience developing component libraries
- Experience with library management
- Excellent communication skills with multiple fab houses
- Excellent communication skills with multiple assembly houses
- Experience with high density and high layer count digital designs
- Experience with power electronics
- Experience with flex circuits
- Experience with RF circuits
- Experience with HDI (high density interconnect)
- Experience with thicker boards greater than 1.6mm
- Experience with high speed digital interfaces
- Experience with controlled impedance routing requirements like USB, PCIe, Ethernet, SERDES, and DDR memory
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
