Job Summary
Staff Payroll Accountant responsible for accurate payroll processing, payroll tax compliance, and financial reporting across a global employee population. Partners with accounting, HR, tax, benefits, and external payroll providers; supports general ledger reconciliations, payroll reporting, and process improvements. Seeks someone to contribute to global mobility programs and employee compensation-related activities, with exposure to international payroll processes and cross-functional leadership. Ideal candidate will combine payroll expertise with accounting/analytical responsibilities and operate in a large, stable, global organization.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in payroll, accounting, tax, or a related finance function
- Understanding of payroll tax regulations, including multi-state payroll concepts
- Experience preparing account reconciliations, journal entries, or payroll reporting
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Experience with Workday, ADP, or similar payroll systems is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage confidential employee and compensation information with discretion
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
