Job Summary
Evaluate incoming patient conditions, consult with referring physicians regarding diagnosis, and develop individualized Occupational Therapy treatment programs. Implement daily therapy techniques including ADL/IADL training, manual therapy, functional mobility, and modalities like ultrasound and e-stim. Complete and update electronic medical records with progress notes, discharge summaries, and patient responses after each visit. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and students by delegating treatment instructions, educating interns, and monitoring overall effectiveness. Communicate regularly with medical staff, potential referral sources, and caregivers to modify programs and expand business. Maintain licensure through continuing education and safely operate company vehicles during business hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid professional license
- Appropriate Certifications/Licenses required
- Degree: Bachelors Degree or higher
- Valid driver's license (implied by 'Safely and legally operate personal automobile during business hours with attached company car magnet')
- NJ certification (implied by 'modalities (ultrasound) w/ NJ certification')
