Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care for patients in Cardiac I, collaborating with physicians and the support system to promote optimal health or support peaceful death. Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journey, accepting full responsibility, authority, and accountability for care management in accordance with current policies and procedures. Maintain current RN licensure, American Heart Association BLS certification, and annual CEUs. Weekend day shifts at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state
- American Heart Association BLS
- Must maintain the annual required CEU's as defined by NCBON
Desired Qualifications
- English major preferred
- One year relevant experience
