Job Summary
Administer medications, tube feedings, and treatments as prescribed; prepare quarterly and annual health assessments; and inform physicians of resident health changes to implement care orders. Complete daily charting for all care provided and act as a liaison between residents, parents, physicians, consultants, and case managers regarding resident status. This role supports the residential, educational, and therapy services provided to individuals with profound disabilities at Marklund's Hyde Center in Geneva and Wasmond Center in Elgin.
Required Qualifications
- Staff Nurse, RN
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- current on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry
- current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers
- ability to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements
