Staff Nurse (RN/LPN)

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, including ASAM forms, and provide routine care at various levels of treatment for patients with substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Administer medications as directed, review logs, and complete nursing documentation in accordance with facility and state requirements. Collaborate with patients, families, and referral sources to coordinate post-discharge recovery plans while applying clinical judgment during crisis situations. Work full-time, 8:30 AM to 9 PM, in three 12-hour shifts at our Baldwinville, MA facility. Required Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in Massachusetts
- Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited school of Nursing
- Strong assessment and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to maintain objectivity and empathy in patient interactions
- Adherence to the Healthcare Code of Ethics
- Familiarity with Joint Commission Standards
- Knowledge of State and Federal confidentiality regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral/mental health, acute care, detox, or mental health facilities
- Familiarity with KIPU EMR system
