Job Summary
Conduct professional role development activities including continuing education, quality assessment, and the clinical application of research findings. Apply the Nephrology Nursing Standards of Practice and state Scope of Practices to develop ethically sound practice while confronting ethical challenges. Lead interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centric care, ensuring individuals can live rather than just exist for dialysis. This role requires at least one year of registered nurse experience, with a minimum of three to six months as a Nephrology Nurse with dialysis experience depending on location. Candidates must hold current, active, unencumbered state RN licensure, a valid CPR certification, and competent knowledge of Electronic Health Records. Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of registered nurse experience
- Minimum 3 months (California - Tennessee) or 6 months (Texas) of experience as a Nephrology Nurse with dialysis experience
- a combination of in-center, and/ or acute, hemodialysis
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent
- Current, active, unencumbered state RN licensure
- Current Healthcare Provider certification (CPR)
- Competent and in-depth knowledge regarding the use of Electronic Health Records
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete projects independently
