Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiovascular/IR unit, 1.0 FTE, day shift. Provides patient-centered care, collaborates with the cardiovascular team to identify problems, plan care, and educate patients and families. Delivers accurate documentation, conducts assessments and interventions, maintains safety and sterile technique, and communicates effectively with the healthcare team. May participate in on-call duties and supports department goals through clinical leadership, education, and ongoing patient care across the cardiovascular service line.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Iowa or compact state required
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse/Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ALCS) will be required within six months of hire if not current
