Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to residents, including administering medication and conducting assessments to develop individualized care plans. Supervise care assistants and other nursing staff while maintaining accurate records and updating care plans as required. Manage emergencies and situations that may arise during your shift, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures for person-centered care. This role offers flexible shifts, including days or nights, with rates up to £20 per hour and weekly hours up to 48. Full-time or part-time positions are available within our UK nursing home team, where you will work with elderly residents and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications
- NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a nursing home or similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- A compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and their needs
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and needs
