Job Summary
Administer medication, provide direct care and support to residents, and communicate with healthcare professionals as required. Develop individualized care plans, conduct assessments for each resident, and oversee care assistants to deliver person-centered care. Strictly follow policies and procedures, maintain accurate records, and effectively manage emergencies during your shift. Valid NMC registration as an RGN or RMN and at least one to two years' experience in a nursing home setting are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- At least 1-2 years' experience working in a nursing home or a similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- A compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their unique needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to cope with changing situations and needs
