Job Summary
Conduct day duty nursing under the Clinical Nurse Manager, delivering skilled practical care and monitoring patient-centered planning, delivery, and evaluation. Provide holistic support for patients and families across emergency, medical, and surgical needs while ensuring controlled drug records and safe storage adhere to NMBI guidelines. Supervise less experienced staff through educational practice, maintain accurate comprehensive records and reports, and manage unit stocks and equipment safely. Keep patient belongings secure per hospital policy. This role is based at our Hospital in Galway, Ireland, with a highly competitive salary including specialist allowances and strong support for professional development and postgraduate study.
Required Qualifications
- Be registered or eligible to register in the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Have at least 2 years post registration experience
