Job Summary
Provide high-quality, safe, and effective nursing care in accordance with NMBI standards, assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing individualised care plans. Administer medications safely, monitor clinical conditions, and lead care staff during shifts while promoting residents' independence and dignity. Communicate effectively with families, GPs, and the multidisciplinary team, maintaining accurate confidential records and ensuring compliance with HIQA regulations. Requires Registered General Nurse qualification, NMBI registration, Garda clearance, and fluent English. Hourly salary ranges from €19.50 to €21.00.
Required Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse qualification
- Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Strong clinical knowledge with a clear commitment to person-centred care
- Previous experience in elderly care
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Garda clearance and satisfactory professional references
