Staff Nurse

Provide safe, effective, and patient-centred nursing care from admission to discharge, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation. Maintain accurate patient documentation, complete nursing care plans, and ensure handovers using the ISBAR tool. Administer medications safely, including controlled drugs, and perform IV cannulation. Communicate professionally with patients, relatives, and colleagues, responding promptly to emergencies. Work independently with minimal supervision, deputise for the Clinical Nurse Manager, and coordinate staff workload. Support quality improvement by mentoring students, contributing to accreditation, and reporting adverse incidents. Manage departmental stock levels and monitor service delivery standards.
