Job Summary
Ensure all residents are treated with dignity, privacy, and respect while maintaining clear, accurate records in accordance with relevant legislation and HIQA standards. Adhere to Healthcare policies regarding medication custody and safely manage admissions with complete documentation. Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams regarding resident discharge to ensure continuity of care. Support bereaved families and maintain the Named Nurse concept through accurate documentation. Work full-time or part-time across locations in Meath, Cork, Galway, Clare, Kildare, Kilkenny, Wexford, and Wicklow. First-level registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland is required.
Required Qualifications
- First level registration
- Registered on the live register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to motivate self and others and to work effectively on own initiative
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and promote a positive team environment
