Job Summary
Deliver prescribed nursing care to a defined group within an agreed framework, assessing, planning, and evaluating progress with patients and their carers. Monitor and review Nursing Care plans while acting as the patients' named nurse. Accurately observe and engage with individuals to assess needs and evaluate progress. This role supports residents with acquired brain injury, progressive neurological conditions, epilepsy, and respiratory support needs at Cleveland House in Southport. Registered Nurses must hold active NMC registration, completed preceptorship, and six months' experience in Mental Health or Learning Disabilities environments. Full-time hours are 38.5 per week at £21.75 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN or RNLD)
- some post-registration experience
- holding an active NMC registration
- having successfully completed a preceptorship programme
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of NMC guidelines, standards, and professional practices
- a strong commitment to ongoing professional development
- Possess a positive attitude towards change, quality improvement, and service development
- is capable of adopting flexible and innovative approaches to practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- a minimum of six months' experience within a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities care environment
- supported by evidence of continued professional development in the relevant field
