Job Summary
As a Staff Nurse - Per Diem, you will provide crucial nursing support to patients with substance use disorders and mental health conditions, conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, develop collaborative treatment plans, administer medications, and support patients through their recovery journey. Required qualifications include an active LPN or RN license in Florida and a nursing degree from an accredited institution, along with strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in Florida.
- Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Strong assessment and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain objectivity and empathy in patient interactions.
- Adherence to the Healthcare Code of Ethics.
- Familiarity with Joint Commission Standards.
- Knowledge of State and Federal confidentiality regulations.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral/mental health, acute care, detox, or mental health facilities.
- Familiarity with KIPU EMR system.
