Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement interventions for health maintenance and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Ensure safe administration of resident care and resolve service concerns within the scope of nursing practice and the Nurse Practice Act. Requires an unencumbered RN license, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation with 12-hour day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
