Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatment plans for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to evaluate care outcomes and educate residents on health maintenance. Delegate tasks to assistive personnel while ensuring safe administration of care within the Nurse Practice Act. Serve as charge nurse when assigned to manage resident care needs. Requires an unencumbered RN license and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation with a $30,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
