Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments on admission, accurately document findings, and continuously monitor patient condition while developing, implementing, and updating individualized care plans based on patient needs and best practice. Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Theatre (Orthopaedics & General) by administering treatments, supporting patient education and discharge planning, and collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Maintain accurate, confidential records, promote infection prevention standards, and demonstrate professional accountability through continuous learning and quality improvement initiatives. Registered in the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an Orthopaedic Theatre setting.
Required Qualifications
- Registered in the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Orthopaedic Theatre setting
- Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD)
- Commitment to ongoing skills training relevant to patient care and clinical practice
