Staff Nurse - Operating Room

Assess patient needs and maintain patent airways for adult and pediatric patients while supporting anesthesia. Administer drugs, respond to complications, and make independent clinical decisions regarding care priorities and reporting. Maintain proficiency in surgical techniques, manage specimens, and adhere to universal precautions and blood-borne pathogen protocols. Document accurately, participate in emergency drills, and integrate cost-effective measures into nursing care. Complete BLS certification and stay current with policy revisions. Requires active PA state nursing license, BLS certification, and one year of clinical experience.
