Job Summary
Staff Nurse - Observation Unit 1 (Nights) provides general nursing care to patients across acute care settings as part of a 24/7 department. Responsibilities include initial and ongoing assessments, planning and documenting interventions, implementing and evaluating care with a multidisciplinary team, and leading process improvements to achieve clinical quality and safety. The role requires a BSN with Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and a night-shift schedule (36 hours weekly) in an Observation Unit. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency within a High Reliability Organization framework.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state
- BLS certification
- BSN required at 5 years of employment
