Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to elderly residents, including administering medication and conducting assessments to develop personalized care plans. Supervise care assistants and manage any emergencies that arise during shifts while maintaining accurate records and updating care plans. Adhere to established policies to ensure person-centered safety and well-being for all residents. Requires NMC registration as an RGN or RMN with 1-2 years of nursing home experience. Full-time or part-time roles available with shifts up to 48 hours per week at rates up to £24 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in a nursing home or similar environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- A kind and caring attitude towards residents and their needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing situations and needs
