Job Summary
Administer medication, provide direct care and support to residents, and communicate with healthcare professionals as required. Develop individualized care plans, conduct assessments, and maintain accurate records while strictly following policies to ensure person-centered care. Oversee care assistants and other nursing staff to deliver the best possible care, effectively managing emergencies and unexpected situations during your shift. Valid NMC registration as an RGN or RMN and at least 1-2 years' experience in a nursing home are required. Flexible shifts including days or nights are available, with rates up to £26 per hour and weekly hours up to 48.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- At least 1-2 years' experience working in a nursing home or a similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- A compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their unique needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to cope with changing situations and needs
