Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to elderly residents, including administering medication, conducting assessments, and developing personalized care plans. Supervise care assistants and other nursing staff while managing emergencies and adhering to policies for person-centered care. Maintain accurate records and update care plans as needed. Requires NMC registration as an RGN or RMN, 1-2 years of nursing home experience, and excellent communication skills. Night shift rotation.
Required Qualifications
- NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in a nursing home or similar environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- A kind and caring attitude towards residents and their needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing situations and needs
