Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to elderly residents, including administering medication and conducting assessments to develop individualized care plans. Supervise care assistants and other nursing staff while maintaining accurate records and updating care plans as required. Manage emergencies and situations that may arise during your shift, ensuring person-centered care is delivered in compliance with all policies and procedures. Requires NMC registration as an RGN or RMN, minimum 1-2 years' experience in a nursing home, and excellent communication skills. Night shift rotation applies.
Required Qualifications
- NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a nursing home or similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- A compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and their needs
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
