Staff Nurse – Minor Theatre Department

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation while administering medications safely and performing procedures such as IV cannulation in the Minor Theatre Department. Deliver patient-centred care by responding promptly to emergencies, exercising sound clinical judgement, and escalating concerns to the Clinical Nurse Manager or medical staff. Demonstrate leadership by working with minimal supervision, deputising for the CNM, delegating workloads, and mentoring student nurses and new staff. Contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance, and hospital accreditation by reporting adverse incidents, participating in audits, and supporting corrective actions. Maintain effective stock and resource management while undertaking continuing professional development. Requires a registered general nurse with at least one year of theatre nursing experience, BLS certification, and relevant theatre training.
