Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for acute and chronic respiratory patients on the Pulmonary Unit. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice within organizational policies. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, functioning alongside hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists. Part-time schedule from 7am to 7pm. Sign-on bonus available. New graduates eligible; Bachelor's degree preferred. RN licensure in Georgia or NLC/eNLC multistate license required. Basic Life Support certification required. Located at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
