Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for acute and chronic respiratory patients on the Pulmonary Unit. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice within organizational policies. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with respiratory issues in the Main Tower alongside hospitalists and respiratory therapists. This part-time role (7am-7pm) offers a sign-on bonus. The position requires a current Georgia RN license, BCLS, and a Bachelor's degree preferred. New graduates are eligible, with one year of hospital experience preferred for PRN shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
